Big Result for Baden Cooke On Oman Second Stage
Baden Cooke posted a strong second to Peter Sagan (Liquigas-Cannondale) on the second stage of the Tour of Oman. A lumpy, hectic final ten kilometres saw a small field contest an uphill bunch sprint. Cooke, who excels in hard sprints, jumped at the 350-metre mark to overtake two riders who had unleashed their final efforts earlier. Sagan managed to overtake Cooke before the line. Tom-Jelte Slatger (Rabobank) rounded out the podium.

26/01: Falls Creek Training Camp
Happy to have wrapped up a very solid training camp at Falls Creek with the GreenEDGE boys. Some of the guys are moving very well. I have personally come out of the camp feeling strong and ready for the season. Looking forward to kicking things off at Qatar.
